Back in the Kitchen restoring teddy bears and answering the phone!

Welcome to all the new people that have found www.samslazybears and a massive thankyou to Kate at the BBC as her interview went out before christmas on BBC South and the response was so positive that they put it on Breakfast T.V the next day and it continues to draw in people on their Instagram socials.

I have been so busy with teddy bear repairs and all the new customers that have booked their bears in that I am now taking bookings for July and once that is filled i am closing for all bookings until June when i shall reopen to take bookings for September up to mid December (August i am having a month off 🙂

TWO BEAUTIFUL BEARS

The first two bears to arrive this year were two Chilterns They had waited a long time to be repaired and the lady who brought them said the larger one that was her fathers had been bought in Bristol in 1939 and the toy shop was bombed out the next day. The smaller one was her mums who sadly passed away the same day her bear came to me. The bears came out looking really good with their new glass eyes bringing them back to life again. It was a pleasure to know they were going back to be loved and treasured. Their reveal made us both shed a tear.
